Steinbichler Names Indicate Technologies Inc. as West Coast Distributor
Detroit, MI, April 11, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Indicate Technologies Inc. was appointed as distributor for Steinbichler Vision Systems, Inc. (SVS), in California, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada, on January 9, 2013.
Indicate Technologies Inc, a distributor and representative of precision dimensional measurement instruments, metrology and engineering services, was founded in 2004 in Santa Clara, California.
SVS's parent company, Steinbichler Optotechnik GmbH of Neubeuern, Germany, founded in 1987, is a worldwide leading supplier of optical measuring and sensor technology as well as hardware and software solutions for the automobile, aviation and tire industries. Steinbichler’s customers include Siemens, Audi, BMW, Airbus, Boeing, Honda, Hyundai, Michelin and Goodyear.
Steinbichler recently announced the COMET L3D, which breaks the performance and affordability barriers of older technologies. This non-contact instrument, featuring the new Blue-LED technology, handles previously difficult reflective and transparent surfaces with higher confidence and provides high resolution data acquisition in a compact package at the lowest price point in the industry. This combination of features opens up the applications where these instruments have traditionally been applied to include smaller, more precision parts in the industries of medical device, prosthetics, molded plastic and consumer electronics.
