Sos (Sittin' on Staxx) - Going All the Way Fast
Strictly Grindin' Records and Cypic Entertainment is Making Name for Itself in the Tough Rap Game.
Muncie, IN, August 13, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Strictly Grindin’ Records / Cypic Entertainment had their first official meetings on August 3rd and 10th, 2007. The focal points of these meetings were the integration of the two companies and the new lead of the roster.
Strictly Grindin’ Records owned by Christopher Stanley and Cypic Entertainment which is co-owned Terry Martin Edwards decided to merge into one company with its purpose being the promotions of urban and hip-hop acts.
It was decided by the new company that it would start anew with SOS (Sittin’ On Staxx) being the main point of interest. SOS formerly known as GMC(Get Money Crew) includes Chris Stanley (C-Stan), Bryce Bond (Shugg), Jamar Long (Big Grizz) and Justin Cross (DW). With a focus on the trials and tribulations of a Midwest group dealing with money, females and fights they expect to show off their skills in the hip-hop arena.
SOS, along with manager Terry Edwards, is currently working on new producers (Mickey Bono, DawgyStyle) and a new deal with Connected Clothing of California should be signed shortly.
Expect to hear a new single by October/November and the album is slated for March of 2008. More Than Money is the expected title.
During the meeting minor artists introduced themselves, their style, and what they felt they could bring to the record label if signed. Their demos will be submitted and Strictly Grindin’ Records/Cypic Entertainment will decide if contracts are in order.
The Promotions Department and the SOS Fan Club will now be run by Ruth Henry, who will handle clothing and printing issues, and Amanda Stanley, who will be handling literary works and editing.
A bulletin will be posted once a month at www.kickapps.com/sos_fan_club
