Soyawax™ is a replacement for conventional petroleum based wax (paraffin). Soyawax™ manufactured the very first soybean oil wax candles for the marketplace in 1993. The Soy Foods Research Center has fully documented that the company is the originator of the growing soy wax industry. The international wax industry is a 10-12 Billion Dollar Market. To date, early adaptors in the shift to soy wax replacements for petroleum wax can be measured in a few million dollars in international sales.
