Erie Photographer John Huegel Completes Four-City Speaking Tour on Web Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Erie, PA, April 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- John Huegel is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) in Erie, Pennsylvania. Huegel recently completed a four-city speaking tour in Tennessee.

In cooperation with the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the PPA affiliate guilds in Tennesee, Huegel presented his own two-hour program entitled "White Hat: The Honest Way to SEO Success." The program identified several strategies that can be employed by small businesses to raise their business' ranking in web searches from Google, Bing and other search engines.

Huegel says of the program: "I have an Information Technology (IT) and Six Sigma background. I wanted to leverage those skills to develop simple ways for small business like my own to be more successful on the internet. Through using the ideas in my program, I consistently rank on Page 1 of my target search words, which gives me great visibility to potential clients. This speaking tour is a great way to share my knowledge with my fellow PPA members and others in the small business community. The program adapts well to chambers, business focus groups and even nonprofits and philanthropic organizations."

The tour began in Memphis, and was followed by stops in Nashville, Chattanooga and finally Knoxville. Reception was very positive and comments indicated that the program was valuable to the many photographers attending the program.

The recently-completed four-city PPA affiliate speaking tour earns Huegel merits toward the PPA degree of Photographic Craftsman, which requires both service and education merits to be earned through teaching and learning. Huegel is anticipating completing all of the degree requirements by the end of 2014.
