Cook-to-Order Specials, Upgrades New at The Festival Buffet at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino
Dover, DE, April 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Festival Buffet at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino is now offering daily action stations and specials, as well as upgrade options.
The five new options consist of a seafood cook-to-order station, a chef’s corner cooking station, dessert action station, carving station, and finally, the daily feature.
Monday specials are spicy steamed mussels, veal scaloppini with lemon caper sauce, Bananas Foster, hickory smoked prime rib, and Italian Night. Tuesday specials are shrimp Creole, pork marsala, Cherries Jubilee, marinated London broil and Taste of Caribbean.
Wednesday specials are clams and shrimp in spicy sauce, seared sea scallops in garlic butter, dulce de leche peaches, smoked strip loin and Mexican fajita bar. Thursday specials are crawfish boil, sautéed beef tip au poivre, Bananas Foster, Herschel Walker ribs, hot crab legs and grilled strip steaks.
Friday specials are spicy seafood boil, sautéed salmon cakes, salted caramel apples, Jack Daniel’s BBQ ribs, hot crab legs and grilled strip steaks. Saturday specials are shrimp boil with corn and potatoes, sautéed seafood cakes, Bananas Foster, roasted prime rib, cold crab legs and hot shrimp.
Finally Sunday specials are sautéed calamari with bacon and olive oil, burgundy beef tips, Cherries Jubilee, roasted turkey, and home-style night including gourmet mac and cheese, meatloaf, turkey wings and more.
Options for upgrades to the buffet experience include a $5 filet mignon, lobster tail for $6, surf & turf featuring both filet and lobster tail for $10, or stuffed lobster tail for $10.
