Whole fleet will be equipped with Telargo on-board equipment to enable better public transit service levels through real-time en-route management tools, advanced passenger information services and reliable fleet supervisors to driver communication. Passengers will be presented with accurate bus arrival time predictions, which will be shown on at-stations displays or available on their phones either as SMS or mobile internet pages, to further improve passenger satisfaction and commuting experience.
Telargo’s fleet management solutions will help bus operators take proactive control of their fleets and together with improved business intelligence the TPM will be able to further lower operating expenses, provide better service and address environmental issues.
The fact, that Telargo bus fleet management system will be up and running by the Italian F1 Grand Prix, which is annually held in Monza, is especially important to all the spectators of this huge event. Three extra routes, operating just for the fans of Formula 1, are added each year to help reduce the strain the visitors to the town of Monza put on bus public transit service.
