Unusual Silent Auction Item Surfaces at Willow Creek Integrated Learning Center Fundraiser
Centennial Colorado real estate company, Redesigned Realty, helps Willow Creek Elementary Integrated Learning Center special needs kids by donating real estate services to silent auction.
Centennial, CO, April 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Most charity silent auctions have the requisite items for attendees to bid on to raise money for their cause. Baskets of trinkets, gift certificates to local restaurants, and one or two big ticket items like free air fare from a major airline are all pretty standard fare. This year one silent auction will have a rather unusual item to auction off, discounted real estate services from local real estate company Redesigned Realty.
When asked about the unusual donation, broker owner Brent Hilvitz said "We have very strong ties to the Willow Creek community and Willow Creek Elementary School, and knew we wanted to be involved to help raise money for the ILC program. This is a way for us to give back, and hopefully make a significant contribution to the program and special needs kids."
The winning bidder will receive 1% off the standard commission Redesigned Realty charges for their Elite Real Estate Listing Services. They will also receive a full pre-listing appraisal, pre-listing inspection, staging consultation, and a Blue Ribbon home warranty.
In addition to any money the auction raises from the winning bidder, Redesigned Realty will donate an additional 1/2% of the sales price of the home back to the Willow Creek ILC program.
The total value of the donation could top $7,000.00, with the ILC program seeing over $3,000 raised for the kids.
Out of 41 elementary schools, Cherry Creek School District has 28 ILC (Integrated Learning Centers) programs with specialized staff; and all of their middle and high schools have a severe needs(ILC) program.
At the elementary level, students are mainstreamed with support as needed for appropriate portions of their day.
Committee member Robin Palmer said, "I'm so thrilled they thought outside the box, this should be a great event for everyone."
The fundraiser and silent auction takes place Fri. 4/19 from 6-9 at La Sandia located adjacent to the Park Meadows Mall. Tickets are $35 at the door.
