Washington, DC, April 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Inaugural Conference Focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility and Non-Profit Partnerships
Character Education Partnership (CEP) is proud to announce its participation in the inaugural Business4Better (B4B) Conference and Non-Profit Expo taking place May 1 and 2, 2013 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. The two-day, non-commercial Conference and Expo focuses on corporate social responsibility and bringing together medium-to-large enterprises and non-profits to form community engagement partnerships.
The Conference program includes a line-up of keynotes from high-level executives and non-profit leaders as well as breakout sessions focused on innovative ways to approach community engagement, proven strategies and practical guidance on creating influential community partnerships. The Non-Profit Expo features 200 non-profit organizations showcasing their community initiatives and creates networking opportunities for executives to create valuable social responsibility partnerships.
“We are extremely pleased to have been selected to participate in the B4B Conference and Expo,” says Mark Hyatt, CEP President and CEO. “Character education does more than reduce truancy, bullying and violence in schools; it creates future employees with a strong character foundation in ethics and integrity. We are very excited to create new corporate partnerships through the Expo with companies who believe in this mission.”
More than 2,000 business executives involved in corporate social responsibility, community outreach, philanthropy, corporate giving, sustainability and employee volunteerism are expected to attend the Conference and Expo. The Conference focuses on three core topics designed to help corporate and non-profit leaders create partnerships focusing on active, rather than passive, contributions:
Driving partnerships into the core business for maximum business and social impact
Partnership high-impact story telling
Partnership basics for business and non-profit professionals with any title
