Mindgrub to Sponsor and Speak at the Digital Entertainment Conference at UMBC

Baltimore, MD, April 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Mindgrub is sponsoring the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Game Developers Club’s Digital Entertainment Conference. Mindgrub’s Lead Game Designer, Alex Hachey, will be in attendance to deliver the keynote presentation.

The Digital Entertainment Conference will be held on April 27th at the UMBC campus. The one day event is designed to give students interested in pursuing a career in game development the opportunity to learn from local game developers how games get made and how to get a job making them. The conference is open to the public, and attendees will include students from other colleges and high schools in the surrounding area.

Hachey has been selected to give a presentation and will touch on Mindgrub Games and how he got into the industry. Alex has recently returned from the SXSW Gaming Expo in Austin, Texas and has been featured in news articles from publications including Technically Baltimore, Bmore Media, CityBiz, and PixelPerfect.
