The tournament allows AIA Triangle members, sponsors and guests to enjoy a great afternoon of comradeship and competition on a challenging course, while supporting future professionals with their education. VMZINC® is a beverage cart sponsor for the 2013 tournament.
The AIA Triangle Golf Tournament, which is held annually at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on NC State University’s Centennial Campus, raises money for the AIA Scholarship/Fellowship Fund, which provides a scholarship to an undergraduate student and a fellowship to a graduate student enrolled at NC State University’s College of Design. In 2012, AIA Triangle provided two $2,850 scholarships and two $500 scholarships to students in the School of Architecture program. Throughout their many years of support, AIA Triangle has raised more than $27,000 in support of local scholarships.
