New Website Seeks Capital to Bring to Conclusion

Domestic Anarchy is a fledgling social enterprise seeking to create food security, biodiversity, and address nutritional poverty by providing a way that organic and heirloom seeds can be freely traded and information is freely available.

Newport, KY, April 21, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Domestic Anarchy is not what you may think when hearing the name of the site. Its owner, Sarah Angel, is trying to develop it into a socially constructive network where people can share knowledge, passion, and most importantly, seeds.

“On a personal level, it is a way to empower urban dwellers and encourage self-sufficiency in an urban world, though we encourage anyone with a passion for growing to join,” said Sarah Angel, owner of Domestic Anarchy.

Currently in production, Domestic Anarchy is developing a social network connection as a part of the website, but to complete this necessary part, Angel is seeking assistance via IndieGoGo.com.

“Any help we can get will be greatly appreciated. The campaign is set to end in a less than 2 weeks, and we want to get the site up and running as fast as possible for a couple of reasons. One, so that users can reap the benefits during this year's growing season. Two, so that we can gain more capital to address local issues like nutritional poverty starting here in Newport, Kentucky, then expanding nationally when the momentum calls for it,” Angel added.

IndieGoGo is a crowdfunding website designed to link people with specific projects such as Angel’s and those who are willing to provide investment capital. The beauty of crowdfunding is the amount can be as small as five dollars to upwards of several thousands or more.

“The more we can accumulate to make this website more socially interactive, the more people can be reached, and the more lives can be changed. Unlike local seed exchanges, for example, those in Chicago can share with San Diego and the like. This increases biodiversity, creating more nutritious foods, purer water, and cleaner air,” Angel added.
