Doylestown United Methodist Church (DUMC) Announces the Beginning of Its Divorce Support Program

Doylestown, PA, August 18, 2007 --(PR.com)-- DUMC’s fall session of its DivorceCare program will begin on September 17th, 2007. The program will begin on Monday 9/17 at 6:00 pm with a free supper, followed immediately by the DivorceCare sessions. DivorceCare is arranged in 13 week cycles and is designed to facilitate the healing of pain caused by separation, divorce, or the end of an extended relationship. The DivorceCare program is designed to welcome people at any time in the program. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged but not required.

DUMC will again be offering DivorceCare for kids (DC4K). This program is designed for children ages 5-12 and is synchronized to the adult class. Children younger than 5 will be offered childcare. DUMC encourages boys and girls older than 12 to join as helpers.

The DivorceCare program was developed to assist in the recovery from the pain of divorce and separation. You will learn important information in the DivorceCare program that will help you through this difficult time in your life. The DivorceCare sessions cover topics such as anger, loneliness, depression, children, forgiveness, new relationships and more. The program features video presentations by subject matter experts on divorce and healing. DivorceCare is biblically based and includes small group discussions. DUMC will host the program at 320 E. Swamp Rd. Doylestown, PA 18901.
