Bulldog Mobile Billboards' Glass Wall Truck Makes Being Messy Fun for Clorox's New "Ick-tionary"
Clorox launched their new “Ick-tionary: Your Wiki for Icky” with a nationwide interactive campaign which called on Bulldog Mobile Billboards to provide the palate for a messy masterpiece. The Ick-tionary campaign aimed to bring out anyone else with a major mess to clean up, especially mothers with toddlers, for unique word games that played on the “ick” factor found in any mess.
Dallas, TX, April 25, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Clorox launched their new “Ick-tionary: Your Wiki for Icky” with a nationwide interactive campaign which called on Bulldog Mobile Billboards to provide the palate for a messy masterpiece. The Ick-tionary campaign aimed to bring out anyone else with a major mess to clean up, especially mothers with toddlers, for unique word games that played on the “ick” factor found in any mess.
Inside the glass wall truck, participants could help make a mess by writing on the glass walls to display silly messages to friends on the outside. A unique word game, “Match the Mess” was also created inside the truck. Participants were given a set of “icky” phrases (such as “Szechuan doodles” and “Grab gag”) and were asked to match them to the correct definition (being “the pattern that your lo mein noodles make when they fall on the floor” and “catching vomit in your hands”). The games sought to test your “Ick-spertise.”
Outside the truck, a giant chalkboard was set-up with an “icky” themed hangman game and plenty of other activities for kids of all ages. Participants both inside and outside the truck were given silly putty, bubbles, coupons for free Clorox products as well as many other giveaways.
The glass-walled truck traveled from Bethesda, Maryland to Nashville, Tennessee and ended in San Francisco, California. The Ick-tionary campaign was a fun and sticky success, with close to 500 individuals participating in or around the glass truck and a total of over 7,000 impressions achieved across the nation.
