Irving, TX, April 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The North Texas Regional Center for Innovation & Commercialization (NTXRCIC) is proud to present Tech Success 2013: A Celebration of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Tech Success is an annual event that attracts over 300 entrepreneurs, technologists, researchers, political leaders and top business executives from the technology community to exchange ideas, create personal connections and preview the technology start-ups of tomorrow. The event will be held at the NYLO Hotel, Las Colinas-Irving, Texas on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The NTXRCIC creates opportunities for entrepreneurs to engage the investment community to secure capital and resources needed to grow scalable technology-based businesses. The NTXRCIC provides services and mentoring programs that create a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem for Texas. Today the NTXRCIC supports 40 Emerging Technology Fund portfolio companies and 22 client companies seeking capital investment.
Tech Success 2013 will feature a Technology Showcase with 30 start-up companies, a Co-Investment Forum with 10 presenting companies and a cocktail reception for guests. The Co-Investment Forum is a NTXRCIC program for vetted companies to present their business in an eight-minute pitch to qualified investors. The event is sponsored by the Alliance for Higher Education and regional partners Texas Instruments, Bank of Texas, ORIX, TriNet, ViaWest, Harper House and NTXRCIC strategic partners WhichBox Media, UNT Innovation Greenhouse, TECH Fort Worth and NTEC.
"Harper House understands the value of technological entrepreneurship and the importance of creating new businesses that positively impact the Texas economy. We're excited to be a part of this event," says Lee McKinzey, Director of Marketing at Harper House.
