About Sylvia J. Cocca
Sylvia J. Cocca was born in Troy, New York. She attended Hudson Valley Community College were she received her A.S. Currently, she is the Academic Program Assistant at Hudson Valley Community College where she specializes in administration and student relations. She married Frank Cocca in 1970 and has 2 children. Ms. Cocca has received the Meritorious Award in 2002 and 2010. She was also awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Recognition of Scholastic Achievement and Personal Enrichment from the Special Program Committee in 2008. In her leisure time, Ms. Cocca enjoys doing crossword puzzles, gardening and attending her grandsons’ sporting events. She is also a ValleyCats baseball fan.
