After Manufacturing, Knowledge Matrix Launches ERP for Power Plant and Fertilizer Industry
Knowledge Matrix, Inc. today announced the launch of ERP for Power Plant and Fertilizer Industry after the launch of manufacturing ERP last month.
Hyderabad, India, April 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Post launch of ERP for manufacturing industry last month, Knowledge Matrix, Inc. today announced that they have successfully completed the development and testing of ERPs for Power Plant and Fertilizer industry. It’s now ready for implementation.
“Power plant and fertilizers are two such industries that function very differently compared to other industries. The operational processes are too complex and difficult for an individual to understand. We have invested almost 2 years in researching these industries and understanding their processes. It was only possible after that to come up with such customized ERP that suite their requirements and addresses various challenges within these industries,” said Anand Desai, Chief Technology Officer at Knowledge Matrix. “Our team took help from a number of industry experts in understanding the pain areas in fertilizers and power plant industry. We were finally able to incorporate all the features within our ERP that can address those pain areas and further with minimal human intervention. Of course we have retained few features from our manufacturing ERP as well like executive dashboards and its integration with smartphones, based on the industry feedback and experts’ opinion.”
Knowledge Matrix being into a niche market serving small and medium businesses, they will be targeting only such small and medium size players in these industries where customization plays a vital role in their routine business. As a result of this customization, the ERP will have a number of modules integrated in a single dashboard with on-screen options like Sales and Distribution, Production management, Purchase, Inventory management, Accounting, Planning, Fixed asset management, Payroll, etc.
On being asked about the further roadmap and future plans, Anand said, “As a part of our strategy, we have identified few more industries where we think ERP can make a big difference. We have formed several teams and they have already started working on their respective industries. You can expect couple of more such launches soon in coming quarter.”
