Zooligans Brand of Animal Themed Children’s Shoes Stampede Toward Fall

Danvers, MA, April 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Children’s shoe brand Zooligans is offering up some new and exciting additions to their clever array of animal themed shoes for Fall ‘13. The collection is multiplying for the back to school season with a new menagerie of styles, colors and characters in their Pawflex collection. The new cast of critters includes a Penguin, Pony and Kitty boot; a Puppy and Gator Ox; a Dinosaur and Monkey mid-cut boot and an Owl and Panda slip on clog. The Fall collection features Zooligans’ signature Paw Flex bottom with its bold paw print design that’s super flexible. Zooligans shoes are designed for little kids’ growing feet with a roomy toe box for toes to stretch and grip and the flexibility that little kids need. The folks at Zooligans believe that when it comes to children’s shoes, fun and function need to go hand in hand (or in this case, paw in paw).

In addition to the new styles in their Pawflex collection, Zooligans is also expanding their line with Baby Zooligans, a collection of soft soled shoes for infants. Baby Zooligans’ tiniest menagerie includes a Lamb, Lion, Kitty, Piglet, Puppy and a Monkey. They are made out of soft leather and suede to provide protection, warmth (and cuteness) for baby’s delicate feet. The bottoms are made of soft suede and have a fun printed pawprint on the bottom.

Launching just last year with a collection of maryjanes and sport sandals, Zooligans has become a favorite of blogging moms all over the Internet and was featured as on of the top ten “must haves” by the editors of Parents Magazine. Zooligans also came in second place (among some well known brands) for the best children’s shoes in RedTricycle.com’s annual reader chosen “Most Awesome Awards.”

Zooligans shoes are the brainchild of the creative team of longtime footwear designer and former toy designer Joel Rusnak and his wife and marketer Cheryl Andonian. They had the idea of designing a line of shoes from a child’s perspective that were not only fun, but functional as well. They teamed up with longtime footwear executive, Art Rogers to form a new company, ShoeString Shoes LLC that is poised to build the Zooligans brand into the future.

Zooligans Fall Pawflex Collection is available in toddler sizes 4 -1 and youth sizes 13-1. Zooligans is happyto announce new, more competitive pricing with an MSRP of $39.99 for shoes and $44.99 for boots. The Baby Zooligans Collection is available in infant sizes 1 - 4 with an MSRP of $24.99. Both collections are available for an August 2013 ship date to retailers.
