InSync Software Releases iApp FlashLite, an iApp-powered, Universal Dynamic Asset Search App

San Jose, CA, April 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- InSync Software today announced the release of iApp FlashLite, an RFID enabled asset search-and-find application available as part of the iApp Platform, or as a stand-alone application for real-time asset searches. The application is a continuation of its strategy to provide pre-built applications for total asset life cycle management that work with multi-modal RFID and NFC based technologies.

iApp FlashLite supports passive, active, semi-passive and RTLS technologies on Windows Mobile, iOS and Android Platforms. InSync supports mobile devices from Intermec, Motorola, Psion, Samsung and other leading manufacturers.

Using the application, for example, a user is able to perform real-time, Street level (GPS), floor-level searches (RTLS, Active) or shelf level (Passive) for specified Assets or groups of Assets. Once the user completes the search they can then perform audit functions using the Audit app, Maintenance App or Cycle count app depending on the use case desired. The FlashLite app provides users with an interface that gives directionality and strength feedback related to the desired tag's location as well as displaying the location of the tag on an image or map on the mobile device helping the user to rapidly determine the area, then specific location of the tagged asset.

Also new to Sapphire is support for NFC technology in iApp-powered applications. Customers that use iApp for their RFID and sensor-driven asset tracking applications can now take advantage of NFC technology and the tap-based interactions to provide immediate asset information and updates.
