logi Gold Proposes Plant Using "New Way" to Make Gold
Can Save the World from Cyanide and Mercury Poisoning
Phoenix, AZ, May 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- logi Gold is joint venturing with Haber Inc. to build a gold ore processing plant near Phoenix using the proprietary HGP4 process. Haber Inc. has been researching for nearly a decade, and has now successfully developed, a process so safe the non-toxic chemicals have been drunk by the President of Company and just as quickly and efficiently remove gold from gold ore. Larry Ortega, CEO of Logi Gold said: “We are extremely pleased, and lucky, to be teaming with Haber Inc. This team of chemists, and almost alchemists, has devised a green method to remove 97% of the gold from nearly every kind of ore including refractory materials at 99+% purity. They do this at incredible speed and profitability. This is a stunning new chemical achievement that will change the gold industry globally.” The extraction statistics that Mr. Ortega refers to come from independent testing by the team lead by Professor FWY Momade, College of Engineering in Ghana for the government of Ghana in 2005. They were also repeated by Mr. Jim Hok, Minister of Natural Resources for the country of Suriname in 2010.
The HGP4 system is comprised of three major steps, pre-processing, extraction and recovery. First, they analyze the ore for its element composition and optimize the chemical mixtures for the specific ore type. In the next step, they inject the custom designed non-toxic chemical mixture into the tank with the ore and carefully monitor the reaction adding more chemicals as needed. When the reaction is complete and the gold is dissolved, a chemical precipitant is mixed into the chemical that allows the gold to drop out to the bottom of the tank. They are able in many cases to reuse the chemical mixture until the potency has been depleted. The effluent is then returned to be recycled.
The importance of this green facility goes beyond this project as it can have a major positive impact on the lives of more than 30 million small scale miners using mercury for the extraction of gold; it will prove that there is a safer and more profitable way for them to operate. This can play a significant role in reducing the global threat of the irresponsible use of mercury and cyanide by small and medium scale gold mining.
Albert B. Conti, CEO of Haber stated, ”We are pleased that after years of tireless effort by our engineering and chemical staffs and extensive testing of numerous ore types in our three HGP4 prototype machines, we are preparing to begin US commercial operations. The facility will demonstrate the outstanding performance of our technology to the gold mining community and prospective clients; it is capable of yielding extraction efficiencies, with complex ores, in the high 90% range with gold purity in the +99% range. This can be done with extraction times of approximately 1 to 3 hours and gold recovery in minutes - all without harming the environment.”
To get this process in commercial operation, Haber is teaming with the engineering depth and expertise of logi Gold. The engineers and strategic partners of the firm have worked with gold and chemical processors globally and are planning on beginning plant development within months. There are hundreds of gold mines and gold miners in Arizona. These Arizona miners will have this incredible technology at their disposal.
