Viva Cinema Grand Opening, Houston TX

Houston, TX, May 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Viva Cinema, an independent movie operator, is planning its Grand Opening at the newly-remodeled movie theater in PlazAmericas Mall located at 7500 Bellaire Boulevard. Set for May 31, 2013, the multi-screened theater will show a mix of first-run movies in English with Spanish subtitles as well as films from Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Argentina and more in Spanish with English subtitles.

The 42,500 square-foot theater includes eight screens with state-of-the-art digital projection and all new digital sound. Viva Cinema is a family-friendly theater with pocketbook-friendly prices of only $7.00 per show. The concessions will include a wide variety of tasty and affordable snacks and drinks for its guests to enjoy. In addition, guests over the age of 21 can enjoy beer, wine and margaritas while viewing the movie.

Viva Cinema believes in becoming a strong supporter of the local Houston community. In addition to offering free events throughout each month, Viva Cinema has also selected La Rosa Family Services as its local charity to support with various fundraisers throughout the year.

Guests may also arrive early or stay late to enjoy Viva Sports Cantina, a 4,500 square-foot cantina connected to Viva Cinema. Guest will be able to order delicious appetizers and entrees including tacos, tamales, fajitas, burgers, pizzas and other comfort food. Guest, 21 years and over, can also enjoy a drink from our full service bar featuring draft and bottled beer, wine, frozen drinks and cocktails. While enjoying their meal or beverage, guest can enjoy watching current sports on the large screen TVs throughout the Cantina. Special trays that lock into the theater chair arms are provided so that all food and drinks from the Cantina can be taken into the cinema to enjoy during the movie.

Viva Fiesta Kids is a 4,500 square-foot party area adjacent to Viva Cinema. The facility can accommodate parties from 10 to 250 guests. Viva Fiesta Kids will feature multiple party areas, entertainment stage and its very own piñata arena. The entertainment stage will feature special acts for the kids, such as magicians, puppeteers, kids’ comedy and other kid appropriate acts.
