InTouch Credit Union Leaders Honored with Business Women & Associate of Year Awards

Plano, TX, May 03, 2013 --(PR.com)-- InTouch Credit Union (ITCU) is proud to announce recent honors received by ITCU executives Diane Gerstner and Sherry Cassidy by the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA)’s Plano Charter Chapter.

Gerstner was selected as one of the ABWA Plano Charter Chapter’s Women of the Year along with fellow ABWA member Jean Rankin for their consistent support of the chapter. Gerstner is the Executive Vice President of ITCU.

Cassidy, employed at ITCU for the last seven years, currently serves as their Assistant Vice President of Public Relations. She has received the Business Associate of Year award from the ABWA Plano Charter Chapter for her continued support of fellow business associates, as well as her community. In her role with the credit union, Cassidy is charged with leading events, sponsorships and financial education within the communities that ITCU serves, having organized or participated in over 300 events during 2012.

The ABWA works to bring together business women of diverse backgrounds and provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others to grow through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition. The ABWA established the Plano Charter Chapter 30 years ago and strives to support and honor women in all aspects of business; they currently meet every third Wednesday at the Southfork Hotel in Plano, Texas.
