Harrison College’s Corporate Partnerships Sponsors "Vacant" Art Exhibit May 3
Corporate Partnership Division Of Harrison College Supports Herron Art And Design Students With A One-Night Art Show In Downtown Indianapolis
Indianapolis, IN, May 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Harrison College (http://www.harrison.edu/), an institution of higher learning with more than 5,000 students studying at 13 campuses and online, has announced that its corporate partnership division will sponsor the “Vacant” art exhibit, a one-of-a-kind art show hosted by students from the Herron School of Art and Design, on Friday, May 3 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the former Indianapolis City Hall building, located at 202 N. Alabama St. The event will showcase nearly 50 local artists, musicians and businesses, and will support the city’s up-and-coming artistic talent. Additionally, 12 students from Herron School of Art and Design’s 2013 graduating class will present their Bachelor of Fine Art’s Thesis Work in painting at the event. The Chef’s Academy, the Culinary Division of Harrison College, will sponsor the VIP gala taking place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and will provide and prepare the appetizers for the evening.
The exhibit, free and open to public, will feature a number of local companies including Sun King Brewery, Fountain Square Brewery, Flying Cupcake, New Day Meadery, Art with a Heart, and more.
