Shore Thing Marketing's Review of Charity Poker Tournament
South Plainfield, NJ, May 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Shore Thing Marketing hosted a charity poker tournament to raise money for Operation Smile on April 18th, 2013. All family and friends were welcome to join the fun at 51 Cragwood Road Suite 308 South Plainfield, NJ 07080. This was an opportunity to support a great cause and meet the Shore Thing Marketing team. Drinks and food were provided and all of the proceeds went to charity. There was a significant amount of funds raised and it all went to Operation Smile.
Back in November of 2012, Shore Thing Marketing hosted a tournament in which allowed for the firm to raise money and donate for the reconstruction of children in need. Through the help of medical volunteers and advocates, Operation Smile has provided over 200,000 free surgeries for children born with different facial deformities all over the world. For less than $240, Operation Smile can provide one child the surgery that will change their life. Every three minutes, there is a child born with a cleft lip or palate and with true dedication, effort, and collaboration, there are ways to make the children of today smile forever.
While there have been life time changes for many children, there are numerous children still waiting to get help -- children who often can’t eat or speak properly. Operation Smile is a medical charity that has permanent impact, so every child born with a cleft can receive not only surgery, but related care, such as speech therapy, to help them reach their full potential.
