Guardian Storage Solutions would like to personally invite you to participate in their First Annual Battle to Beat Blood Cancer: “Helping Fight Cancer One Song at a Time.” at their Shadyside location. Guardian Storage is proud to announce that on Sunday, May 26, 2013 4pm-9pm, they will be hosting this event with all of the proceeds to benefit the Western Pennsylvania & West Virginia Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The event will be featuring a benefit concert of local artists in a battle of the bands in conjunction with music, entertainment, games, prizes, food and fun for all ages! Bands that will be attending are Billy the Kid and the Regulators, Long Leggate Spyders, Jimmy Adler Band and Stache. This is a free event and anyone may attend. Financial Contributions are greatly appreciated.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. The LLS’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families by funding local programs to support research and provide patient aid. Since the first funding in 1954, the LLS have awarded more than $600 million in research funding. Every 4 minutes someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with a blood cancer and every 10 minutes someone in the U.S. loses the battle to blood cancers.
