National Association of Women Business Owners Names 2013 Women of Distinction

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Southern Nevada recognized 13 top business women at the 15th Annual Women of Distinction Awards (WODA) luncheon on Friday, May 3 at the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The WODA recipients were selected from a pool of 34 women who were nominated by their peers and voted on by a six member panel of NAWBO members.

“This annual luncheon marks the celebration of a community of smart, talented business women who make a difference in their fields while also contributing to the betterment of the Southern Nevada community,” NAWBO Southern Nevada President Valerie Parker said. “Congratulations to this year’s WODA class.”

Event sponsors included Caesars Entertainment, Southwest Gas, Wells Fargo and MGM Resorts International. KLAS Ch. 8’s Paula Francis served as this year’s master of ceremonies.
