Be On The Scene Live Music Event
A Live event showcasing fresh and new unsigned musicians, headlined by the winner of Be On The Scene's successful online music contest.
London, United Kingdom, June 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.”-Plato
Online Music and Performance community Be On The Scene, has launched a unique concept among the many musicians in the growing community. What has been said to be an online take of well-known televised counterparts, which encourages musicians of all genres and style, to submit two songs or tracks, with the hopes of making it through to the next round by audience participation and votes. The end goal is obviously one worth pursuing, as they will headline the next BOTS live event at the Archangel in High Street Kensington, on the 28th June 2013. These regular events which attract members of the press, media and bloggers are an honest way to bridge the gap between musicians and industry professionals. But it’s not with the end in sight that one will benefit from, it’s the journey.
With a growing number of new visitors a month, Be On The Scene appears to be an excellent platform for artists to submit their work. They strive on the belief that they do not limit potential, so regardless if a member has a free or paid profile, they will still be eligible to enter the contest. It is the only community that takes a more personal approach to its members. With regular meet ups and live events showcasing all genres of music, fashion and art. It is evident they like to keep a consistent presence throughout and connect the talent community.
Some of the artists that are taking part have exploded onto the underground music scene and with the help of their loyal fans and followers they hope to get the chance to perform for a bigger and more influential audience. There is an eclectic mix of artists taking part, from all styles such as Acoustic singer/songwriter, Rock, Pop, Indie and Folk.
Monday the 22nd of April, marked the first day of registration and voting for the contestants of round 1. With four rounds to go, each open for just one week our competition will close and a decision will be made just in time for their Live Event in June.
The events are not to be missed. It’s a chance for everyone to come together to support and appreciate the music which these musicians perform for us. This opportunity for all to add new faces to Be On The Scene's growing music library. Forget the commercial, recycled tunes you hear on a daily basis, these songwriters, melodists and lyricists put the art back into music production and present us with fresh, new music.
