Place Trade Sponsors Women in Law Enforcement Champion Softball Team
Raleigh, NC, August 18, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Sarah M. Place, President & CEO of Place Trade Financial, Inc., a full service, discount broker and online trading firm, announced that Place Trade is a proud sponsor of the Texas Outlawz. This champion softball team made up of women in law enforcement will be returning to Las Vegas August 15th - 20th to defend their gold medal in the 31st Annual Nevada Police and Fire Games.

About Texas Outlawz:
The Texas Outlawz are a Champion Softball Team made up of women in law enforcement. This team is comprised of patrol officers, DPS Troopers, Hostage Negotiators, Firefighters, detectives, sergeants and lieutenants. The members are derived from various departments in San Antonio and Austin, Texas including: SAPD, SAFD, BCSO, DPS, APD and EISD. In the past, some team members have competed in Law Enforcement Tournaments as far away as Puerto Rico. Along with three outstanding coaches, the team is managed by Officer Mara L. Wilson, who has also coached the SAPD Co-Ed Softball Team - Guns and Roses; who have also garnered many gold and silver medals.
In addition to enforcing the law, team members volunteer in the community working with the elderly and reaching out to children. Team member have assisted many individuals at senior citizen communities with cashing social security checks, preventing robberies, assaults and other crimes of violence that have been previously committed against these seniors when they left their secured environment to cash their checks. In addition, members volunteer to serve the community by delivering food and toys to families in need during the holidays.
