SPCA Tampa Bay to Host 12-Hour Pawjama Adoption Party May 11th

Largo, FL, May 10, 2013 --(PR.com)-- When: Saturday, May 11, 12 p.m.- Midnight

Where: SPCA Tampa Bay ~ 9099 130th Avenue North, Largo

SPCA Tampa Bay is hosting the area’s first-ever twelve hour adoption event on Saturday May 11th from noon until midnight. The Largo shelter expects to have more than 60 pets available for adoption including puppies, kittens, dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and other critters up for adoption.

Noon to 3pm:

Adopt! Puppy & Kitty Kick-Off: They’ll have cute and cuddly youngsters up for adoption. If you are yearning for a puppy or kitty, come early. These animals will be adopted quickly.

Children’s Play Area: They’re bringing in a bounce-house
Cat Tails: Stories about living with felines, Cat Adoption Building
Rat Pack: Learn about having rats and mice as pets, Small critter Room.

3pm to 6pm:

Radio Disney onstage with amazing contests and a continuous adoptable pet parade.

· Contests: Best K9 Kisser, owner-dog lookalike, most talented and cutest pet.
· Face painters

6pm to 8pm:

Pet psychic
Photo booth
Gift shop discounts.

8pm to 10pm:

Slipper Soirée contest
Animal trivia contest
Beer and wine, coffee and desserts

10pm- Midnight:

Movie Under the Stars
Disney 4-pack drawing

Visuals- Kids with painted faces dancing, playing games and learning about animals, owners and their pets competing in lookalike contests, pets getting their fortunes told, and much more.

SPCA invites media representatives to attend and record the event. Staff will be on-hand for interviews.
