New Book Helps Children Understand Why Rules Exist
Naperville, IL, May 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Kimberly Ann Lemke takes a look into the world of rules through the eyes of a child with her publishing debut, I Just Don’t Get My Parents’ Rules!
Readers take a journey with a child as he explores his feelings about his parents’ rules. Along the way, he imagines life without those horrible rules, and while he is momentarily caught up in the euphoria and amusement of the possibilities, he soon realizes that a house without rules might not be as fantastic as he imagined.
Through her debut offering, Dr. Lemke, a licensed child and adolescent clinical psychologist, proves that she is dedicated to helping parents feel that they have support in doing one of the hardest jobs out there – being a parent, saying, “I decided to write this book because I am very passionate about helping parents do their job better and easier. I utilize the concepts in this book with my own family as well as with my clients." This book is written for those who understand the importance of setting rules at home and who are looking for an imaginative, enjoyable way to explain this topic to their child, as well as for children who are in need of a better understanding as to why rules exist.
Not just for parents, I Just Don’t Get My Parents’ Rules! is a valuable resource for nannies, grandparents, teachers, and any other caregiver who wants to encourage the emotional growth of a child.
"An excellent tool for educating children and families about rules. This is an outstanding resource that I highly recommend!" - Dr. Mary Englund, Clinical Psychologist
