Medieval Collectibles Builds New Warehouse and Shipping Facility
Increased product demand and genre popularity help Medieval Collectibles grow with their customer’s desires.
Princeton, IN, May 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Medieval Collectibles has been serving the Medieval, Renaissance, Fantasy, Historical, and LARP communities for over 14 years by providing quality collectibles, weapons, clothing, accessories, and armour from their own manufacturing facility and a multitude of craftsman and suppliers across the world. In that time Medieval Collectibles has grown from a small, home-based operation in southwest Florida to a large-scale online retailer now in southern Indiana, supplying goods to hundreds of thousands of Medieval enthusiasts throughout the world each year.
As Medieval Collectibles has grown, so has their team and facilities. In 2008 they moved their operation to a 10,000 square foot, repurposed office and warehouse space in Princeton, Indiana. With the popularity of films like the Lord of the Rings, 300, and Conan as well as games and television shows like Assassin’s Creed and Game of Thrones sparking a new interest in the Medieval and Fantasy genres, Medieval Collectibles enjoyed sustained growth. With the additional interest in Live Action Role Play as a recognized hobby and lifestyle, Medieval Collectibles saw a new influx of customers and wonderfully creative products to their catalog to satisfy their growing desires.
As such, in spring 2012 Medieval Collectibles broke ground on a new warehouse in Princeton, Indiana adjacent to their existing facility. The 21,000 square foot, purpose-built facility was completed in November of 2012. Connected to their original building, the new building provided the open space we needed to accommodate what their customers had been asking for, and now gives Medieval Collectibles 31,000 square feet of operational space. The additional room also gave their packing and shipping departments larger dedicated areas to work in and speed up productivity and fulfillment times. With the new building and 20 plus dedicated employees Medieval Collectibles is able to stock or ship over 38,000 products to their customers.
With the land acquired in their original property purchase, Medieval Collectibles has the available space to grow further. Medieval Collectibles has been blessed to build these facilities and employ the good people of Princeton, Indiana and look forward to a long relationship with them and their customers.
