The Great Gatsby Hit Theaters Nationwide May 10th: Screen It in Style in Ingri:Dahl

The same pair of stylish 3D glasses worn by the cast and crew of The Great Gatsby at the World Premiere screening is available to the public through Ingri:Dahl.

Beverly Hills, CA, May 13, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The highly anticipated film The Great Gatsby hit theaters nationwide on May 10th, and broke $50 million in ticket sales during opening weekend (according to Forbes). The film is written, produced and directed by Baz Luhrmann, the Hollywood genius behind Romeo & Juliet and Moulin Rouge!. Moviegoers are flocking to the theaters to see the roaring fashion, lavish set design and theatrical effects of his latest masterpiece. Luhrmann paid meticulous attention to detail during the production and promotion of the film, down to the vintage-inspired designer 3D glasses worn by the cast and crew to the World Premiere screening in NYC last week.

A select few of the World Premiere’s star-studded guest list were given Ingri:Dahl 3D glasses to wear inside Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall, where the screening took place. Photos of Baz Luhrmann and musician Florence Welch wearing their Ingri:Dahls at the premiere quickly spread through social media. The same style, Popcorn, is available to the general public for $29.99 at www.ingridahl.com.

Ingri:Dahl is a Norwegian label based in Los Angeles, founded by Stavanger twins Einy and Kine Paulsen. The brand is known for providing moviegoers with stylish alternatives to the cheap, ill-fitting 3D glasses handed to them upon entering the theater. Luhrmann’s inclusion of Ingri:Dahl at The Great Gatsby World Premiere is a testament to the timeless appeal of the brand’s iconic retro frames.
