Featuring the talented Chef Omar Flores of Driftwood, this elaborate feast will start with a sparkling wine reception. Once guests are seated at the Wine Poste’s communal table, they will indulge in five delicious courses, each accompanied by a perfectly-paired glass of wine.
The intimate dinner is limited to just 24 guests, so reservations are strongly recommended. Menu items and wine pairings include:
First Course
Hamachi crudo with yuzu-olive oil, kumquats, jalapeno gel and avocado ice cream

Who: Based in the Dallas Design District, the Wine Poste is a new twist on retail and online wine sales. The store is housed in a 4,500 square foot warehouse and was designed with comfort in mind. In addition to providing a well-curated selection of wine for sale, the Wine Poste features three distinct event spaces available for wine tastings, dinner parties, corporate events and more.
Chef Omar Flores has been working in restaurants from a young age. After graduating from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, Chef Omar staged in several restaurants around the country before settling in Dallas to work at Abacus. After five years at Abacus and three years as Executive Sous Chef, Omar knew it was time to set off on his own. Driftwood is the culinary culmination of his dreams.

The Wine Poste is a new twist on retail and online wine sales in Texas. We are located in a recently redeveloped 4500sqft warehouse in the heart of the burgeoning Design District of Dallas, TX. Our venue was designed with comfort in mind. We have three distinct wine tasting and event entertaining areas for our patrons, the Lounge, the Library, and our private Banquet Room.
