RCFlightline.com Expands Educational Reach to Families with Flagship Podcast "Beyond the Flightline"
Rapidly growing ‘Beyond the Flightline’ podcast now available on Stitcher.com
Olathe, KS, May 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- RCFlightline.com, a comprehensive community dedicated to family and flight, expands its educational reach with “Beyond the Flightline,” its flagship podcast hosted by aviation expert Todd Carrison. The family-friendly podcast – with a rapidly growing audience of 6,500 listeners – was recently accepted and approved by Stitcher.com, a streaming platform of more than 15,000 high-quality radio shows, live radio stations, and informative podcasts.
“Beyond the Flightline” focuses on using radio-controlled aircraft (e.g., drones, UAVs) as a way to get families involved in a fun hobby that also teaches lifelong skills in math, science, and communication. The show features real-life examples incorporated into each episode. By integrating radio-control and real aircraft, listeners are taught the unlimited possibilities of future aircraft and those who design them. Listeners can soar "Beyond the Flightline" with expert commentary, news, interviews, product reviews, resources and more.
Carrison’s passion for aircraft began early, as he first learned control-line flying with small Cox engine airplanes. “I had a blast building, flying, crashing, and rebuilding model airplanes,” he says. He soon noticed there were few resources online to help beginner radio control pilots, and that little advancement in the hobby had been realized. “I had such a great experience with aviation growing up, and I want other families to experience the joy of flying in a way that is not only affordable and fun, but also educational,” says Carrison. “My mission is to get families involved in an enjoyable indoor/outdoor hobby that could literally change the world.”
