Two New Major Projects Completed by Decorespaço International Shopfitters
Decorespaço International have just completed two major retail projects at Lisbon and Oporto Airports in record time.
Alcabideche, Portugal, August 19, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Decorespaço International Shopfitters continues to build on its reputation for completing projects to the highest standard, in good time and within budget. They have specialised in recent years particularly in airport shopping facilities, and have been the main contractors in fitting out extensive retail areas in airports throughout Portugal.
Directors Geert Sillevis and Anneke Renes are now enjoying the results of their more than 15 years hard work in mastering every aspect of their trade. They are especially well known and respected for their efficiency and their ability to communicate clearly and effectively with their clients. “We are proud that we can get a job done very fast without compromising quality in any way” says Geert. Two recently completed projects provide more than adequate evidence that this is true.
Oporto airport recently opened its latest retail development to the travelling public. The new terminal there boasts a central Retail plaza consisting of 2 large pavilions with a total area of around 900m2 occupied by the main duty free concessionaire LFP/Nuance and the other by 4 specialist shops offering Luxury Gifts, Fashion, Delicatessen and Books/News Papers. Decorespaço International were the shopfitting contractors responsible for this project, participating in its conception and concluding the works in record time.
The shops explore a new open concept in travel retail. They do not have the traditional false ceilings, but instead utilise of the full height of the terminal, permitting the penetration of natural light and creating visibility of the shops to all passengers descending into the terminal from the floor above. At the opening ceremony the director of the Portuguese Airports Retail Directorate complimented Decorespaço International on yet another job so well done in such a short time.
The new “T2” terminal at Lisbon Airport provides a similar story. The Portuguese airport authority ANA officially opened this new terminal on July 31. It will serve domestic flights and also create the additional capacity needed when the works on the extension of the main terminal start early in 2008.
As anchor store in the well appointed departure lounge features the new Duty Free shop operated by the main concessionaire LFP/Nuance. The shop offers a full range of products in an airy and well lit interior. Most travellers will not realize when treating themselves or choosing a gift for a loved one that Decorespaço International built this whole area in a record 6 weeks from start to finish.
