A Digital Writing Tool That Works
An increasing number of users report that using the essay writing app sCoolWork has improved their grades and writing skills. Software house Skills & Knowledge to move towards scientific research.
Holon, Israel, May 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The promise of an app to make your essay writing worries go away is always appealing to students, who would like to see their grades and English writing skills improve, preferably with as little effort as possible.
Although the market is full with promises, it seems that essay writing app sCoolWork from the start up nation is finally delivering. Israeli software house Skills and Knowledge (S&K) reports an increasing amount of user testimonials, claiming that their essays done with sCoolWork had indeed received higher grades than usual.
“Though we knew that we were using proven methods to write excellent essays, we didn’t know how our users would react to it. You’d think it’s not so easy to change your writing habits, even though you’re receiving constant guidance,” says Shachar Tal, S&K co-founder. “When we started receiving these testimonials we were so relieved. sCoolWork works!”
Released in early 2013, sCoolWork had received praises from both individual students who use the app to write better essays, and from English teachers and professors, who see the value of sCoolWork in a learning environment.
Says Alex Dayan S&K CEO: “Our user base is mostly individual students right now, but we would like to see sCoolWork being used in more schools, and in an organized way. That’s why we’ve decided that for the upcoming school year, we’ll concentrate on two tasks in that aspect. One is that we’ll be teaming with education researchers to conduct scientific research on sCoolWork’s effectiveness. The second is that we’ll be offering sCoolWork for a very attractive price and in a very attractive business model for schools, which basically says that if a school or an institution did not see concrete positive results by the end of next year – they won’t have to pay.”
Convinced with sCoolWork’s effectiveness on writing performance and grade performance, S&K’s two founders are planning a road trip, where they’ll meet face to face with education leaders and decision makers, in order to get direct feedback on sCoolWork and S&K’s future plans.
It would definitely be an interesting year for sCoolWork, with scientific and real user validity on the line.
