SelfStorAll Expands Again
Checker Business Storage, a unique business storage centre in Edmonton, starts its second round of expansion in less than 12 months.
Edmonton, Canada, May 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- In October, the company, operated by SelfStorAll, added 14 units to its 330 unit facility on 128 Ave near St Albert Trail. The company is now adding 17,000 sq ft more.
"Edmonton's rapid growth is also impacting small business which are the core users of Checker Business Storage. Most business are finding growth opportunities and our concept of flexible storage, office and work spaces seems to resonate," Director Paul Reynolds explains. "While most self storage facilities do not provide electric power and plenty of light, Checker welcomes entrepreneurs and distributors who want some work area near their inventory. There are very few storage facilities in Canada who welcome the active user needing work space and not just a storage locker."
Building work starts in June for a September completion. The company is building 17,000 sq ft and adding 67 heated units and gated, exterior parking spaces for truck and RV storage.
"Although Checker Storage continues to grow, we remain keenly focused on bringing innovation and value to our clients," said Reynolds. "Self storage is a new business in Canada, only a few decades old, but competition and innovation are essential for success."
Storage Capital from Toronto has arranged financing for the project.
