Medical Staffing Network and W3D Announce April 2013 “Nurse of the Month” Winner

Carbondale, IL, May 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Medical Staffing Network Healthcare, LLC (MSN) announced today the Nurse of the Month contest winner for April, 2013. The contest, which MSN has been co-sponsoring with local Carbondale radio station 107.3 W3D, honors exceptional local nurses. The contest is promoted on the air, and nominations were open to the public via the station’s website.

April's Nurse of the Month winner is Cindy Cordoro, RN, an L&D nurse at Memorial Hospital Carbondale. A divorced mother of five children, Cindy recently went back to school on a scholarship to become an OB/Labor and Delivery Nurse.

According to the person who nominated her, “Cindy took care of me and my family as we suffered through the loss of our son. She was a blessing to have by our side and I am forever grateful to her for helping us survive such a terrible experience.”

MSN Carbondale Branch Manager Shelley Zeigler said, “Cindy was so appreciative and humbled to be chosen Nurse of the Month. She said she will always remember the family that nominated her and thinks of them often. It brought her to tears. She was so surprised to be nominated, and so honored.”

Misty Stover from W3D presented the prizes to Cindy, which included a Miller Spinal Health massage and a Boondocks’ Restaurant gift certificate.
