Planet Technologies Builds Microsoft Crime Prevention and Inspections Accelerator

Germantown, MD, May 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Planet Technologies, the leading Microsoft consulting and services company for the public sector, announced today the launch of Microsoft’s Crime Prevention Accelerator, a solution designed by Microsoft in conjunction with Planet Technologies to assist law enforcement organizations in streamlining onsite inspection, data collection, and assessment after burglaries.

Planet, with a successful track record of building innovative lines of business applications for their public sector clients, was tapped by Microsoft to assist with this project. The Microsoft Crime Prevention Accelerator is designed to help assign and manage inspectors from law enforcement agencies, provide citizens with assessments to help prevent future burglaries, and share information with citizens and affected neighborhoods. Built on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform, the solution is available in both on-premises and online delivery models. Included and integrated in the accelerator is a Windows 8 application that allows Field Inspectors to enter data and sync in real-time.
