Lagoon Owner Rendezvous, a Great Success
Ft. Lauderdale, FL, August 19, 2007 --(PR.com)-- This year’s Lagoon Owner Rendezvous held in Annapolis, MD. was a smashing success. Everyone involved in the weekend should be proud of the results. There were over 75 attendees plus press, staff, and friends numbering more than 15 over the two days of demo sails and the rendezvous event.
The Lagoon demo sails started bright and early on Friday, July 27th. The Lagoon 420 and Lagoon 440 drew quite a crowd and received high marks from participants. Friday’s festivities closed with a night of cocktails and appetizers. There was plenty to nibble on and drink so most of Friday night was spent story swapping and really getting to know each other.
Saturday was a lovely day, which kicked off with most of the group enjoying a complimentary breakfast provided by Cindy Lewis of New Coast Financial. Demo sails continued until 11:30AM and then it was off on a friendly sail to St. Michael’s for the exclusive owner’s dinner at The Crab Claw. 10 of the 15 participating Lagoon boats represented by their owners sailed to St. Michael’s that afternoon. With a great mix of wind and tactics, the boats had a great sail.
The Saturday night Crab dinner in St. Michael’s was a hugely successful celebration for The Catamaran Company, Lagoon and their loyal owners who have helped bring the Lagoon brand to the head of the cruising catamaran market. Needless to say there was more food then could possibly be eaten, but they gave it our best effort.
This weekend event was a vital aspect of The Catamaran Company’s customer care program and demonstrates the value this company places on personal relationships. Once again, thanks to everyone who invested his or her energy into making this event as memorable as possible. This year we saw many familiar boats and also welcomed many newcomers. It’s important to remember that this is a fun, family event for all that love and own these incredible catamarans. They're looking forward to 2008 to improve upon the success of this year’s event.
The Catamaran Company and its affiliates continue to strive to meet the demands of a growing industry, while maintaining a high level of customer support. The accomplishments of this organization can be attributed to their ability to foster personal relationships, while excelling in service and technology.
