BBS, Inc. Boston Hitting Home Runs for Charity
BBS, Inc. Boston organizes company-wide charity softball game.
Woburn, MA, May 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- BBS, Inc. Boston, a sales and marketing company in Woburn, MA, has organized a charity softball game for all employees and their guests to attend.
Scheduled for this Sunday, May 19th 2013 at a local Somerville field, the game will consist of a mix between BBS Account Managers, Assistant Managers, and all company Managers.
BBS has required a flat rate entrance fee from each player and attendee in order to gather money to donate to the family of Martin Richard, eight year old victim of the Boston Marathon bombing.
“Here at BBS, we pride ourselves on giving back to our community and those that surround it. In the past, our annual charity softball game has raised money for large organizations like Operation Smile or the Boys and Girls Club. In recent years we decided to donate to local charitable causes like the Wounded Warrior Project or other specific local causes. In light of recent events, we wanted to donate our proceeds to something that was meaningful and personal to all of us and it became clear that this years proceeds should go to the family of a local victim of the Boston Marathon bombing,” said BBS Manager.
As explained by one BBS Human Resources member, “Everyone is really excited for the 2013 annual charity softball game. Not only do we love company sporting events but this one is special to everyone in that its purpose is to raise money for an amazing cause. Each of us is personally contributing to the cause and has asked both friends and family to donate as well.”
