Hudson Valley Magazine, Chronogram, to Host Kids & Family Fun Day in Rosendale, NY on June 2, 2013
Hudson Valley children’s performers Uncle Rock and Story Laurie headline the Chronogram Kids & Family Fun Day on Sunday, June 2 from noon-5pm at the Rosendale Recreation Center, in partnership with the YMCA of Kingston & Ulster County, and sponsored by Pegasus Kids Shoes.
Rosendale, NY, May 22, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The fair-style Kids & Family Fun Day event will feature:
· Outdoor activities organized by the YMCA of Kingston & Ulster County.
· A meet and greet with animals from the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary.
· Performances by Uncle Rock, Story Laurie, the Percussion Orchestra of Kingston (POOK), Energy and Energizers Dance Company, New Genesis Youth Shakespeare, and more!
· Legos provided by Snapology of Mid-Hudson Valley.
· Readings by authors of children’s books and Young Adult novels.
· Participatory dance with Drew Andrews of Dance Xross Fitness.
· Family photography by Lorna Tychostup.
Local Hudson Valley vendors will offer a variety of food and beverages for sale, including Jane’s Ice Cream, Yum Yum on Wheels, and Mr. Grumpy’s.
Focused on stimulating and supporting Hudson Valley parents and children, the new Chronogram's Kids & Family section features articles about common parenting issues examined from uncommon perspectives, resources for enlightened family life, as well as upcoming events and cool places for families to go in the Hudson Valley.
