Ron Cutler Joins The Douglas Company as Vice President of Construction
Toledo, OH, May 22, 2013 --(PR.com)-- On May 13, 2013, The Douglas Company welcomed Ron Cutler to their Executive Team as Vice President of Construction at its Toledo, Ohio headquarters.
In his new position, Ron will focus primarily on ensuring project execution from conception to completion and maintaining strong client relationships. With 29 years of experience in the industry and expertise in the areas of construction management and people development, Mr. Cutler is a welcomed addition to the general contractor’s staff.
Ron is a demonstrated leader in managing “at risk” projects and has a proven track record of successfully supervising multiple teams and projects simultaneously. His first projects with The Douglas Company will be Legacy Homes in Toledo, Ohio and Addington Place in Northville Twp., Michigan.
When asked to comment on his new position, Cutler stated, “I look forward to providing strong leadership to assist The Douglas Company in its continuous goal to lead, build and succeed by ensuring we successfully procure our projects on time and within budget.”
His ultimate goal is to obtain and build his cliental to provide a clear career path for growth for his staff, and he believes that The Douglas Company’s philosophy, culture and people are a great indicator of future success.
“After my first visit to Toledo, I knew it would be a great place to live and work,” said Cutler in regard to making the move to Ohio. “It has everything that the bigger cities do, except for gridlock! I’m looking forward to learning about all Toledo has to offer.”
Ron comes to The Douglas Company from his previous positions as Operations Manager for Construction Works, Inc., and Project Executive for Bovis Lend Lease, both located in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction form the University of Florida and is OSHA 10 and 30 certified.
