Willie Macc and JT of BET's College Hill and DayDay of BET's Baldwin Hills Hit the Hardcourt to Raise Money for Charity
BET College Hill and Baldwin Hills cast members' Willie Macc, JT and DayDay played in celebrity basketball game for charity. Reality TV stars Willie Macc and JT from BET College Hill Virgin Islands and DayDay from BET Baldwin Hills' played in the 8th Annual Celebrity Basketball Game presented by Cosi Entertainment and DF Enterprises to benefit the I'm Every Woman Foundation. Other celebrities included Wesley Jonathan and Orlando Brown.
Los Angeles, CA, August 21, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Reality TV stars Willie Macc (www.myspace.com/kingonthemic) and JT (www.myspace.com/jronelement) from BET College Hill Virgin Islands and BET Baldwin Hills' DayDay (www.myspace.com/jesus_shuttles_worth) played in the 8th Annual Celebrity Basketball Game presented by Cosi Entertainment and DF Enterprises. The game took place at Fairfax High School (Los Angeles) on Friday, August 17th, 2007 at 7:00pm, and concluded the week of activities for the Celebrity Catwalk for Charity (www.celebritycatwalk.com).
Other celebrities that participated in the celebrity basketball game were Wesley Jonathan (Cross Over, Roll Bounce) and Orlando Brown (That's So Raven), just to name a few. Proceeds from the game benefited the I'm Every Women Foundation which was founded as a response to the growing need to empower, educate, inform and provide resources for women and young girls.
All three of the reality stars (Willie Macc, JT and DayDay), are continuing on in the world of entertainment, each with separate additional projects. Willie Macc, who just finished shooting his first major studio movie that includes Kevin Sorbo, Carmen Electra and Method Man is also quickly developing a name for himself on the stand-up comedy circuit around Los Angeles, and most recently appearing on stage at the Harrah's Hotel and Casino in New Orleans. In addition, he begins filming "House Arrest", a straight to DVD comedy in September.
JT, a rapper and music producer, is currently being courted by several different labels with a pending deal soon to be announced. He performs under the name "5th Element" (www.myspace.com/5thelementjaytee) and was part of the half-time show during the celebrity basketball game.
DayDay, in addition to appearing in the current season of Baldwin Hills, has begun his training to pursue a career as an actor, comedian and model.
The celebrity basketball game included a pre-game with Chapel Park taking on the JBL All-Stars.
