Hilliard, OH, August 21, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Nomination for the Black Web Awards ran for a two-month period that ended in late August, and a panel of judges selected websites that made it to the finals. Finalists will then be announced at a live press conference at the Reginald F Lewis Museum of African American History and Culture in Baltimore.

The Black Web Awards are the first effort to recognize and celebrate African, African American and Caribbean excellence online. After an eight week open nomination process, the Black Web Award's received over 2,000 unique nominations from 24 countries. The ballots close on October 19, 2007. Winners will be announced on November 14th. Votes can be cast on www.BlackWebAwards.com.
