Providence Wins Back to Back Orlando Parade of Homes Community Development Awards and First Place for Custom Home Design
The Providence gated luxury golf community located in Polk County, Florida has been awarded the Orlando Parade of Homes Grand Award for Community Development for the second year in a row. This special recognition was given to ABD Development Company, real estate developer and custom home builder, in both 2012 and now again in 2013. In addition, ABD Development took the First Place Awards for Providence and for the Wyndham V model in the custom home design category.
Orlando, FL, May 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- ABD Development Company won three awards at the 2013 Orlando Parade of Homes event, which was held the weekends of April 20-21 and 27-28, with the awards ceremony on May 2nd. The Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando-organized competition resulted in First Place for ABD in both the community and custom home categories, as well as the coveted Grand Award for Community Development for Providence luxury golf community located just west of downtown Orlando.
ABD Development’s President, Yuval Botansky, was present to accept all three trophies at the festive ceremony held at Ceviche in Orlando. “We won the Grand Award again this year for developing Providence, which may have surprised some of the attendees since we were also given that honor in 2012,” stated Botansky. “Our communities stand apart from other developments so we were grateful but not shocked by another win.” Providence and ABD also received the First Place Award for a community over one thousand lots.
ABD Development’s Wyndham V model, located in the Heritage Green section of Providence, was recognized with the First Place Award in the Custom Home Showcase for models under $700,000. “Some of the comments we received from people was how much natural light we used in our homes. Our windows are large and our rooms spacious with high ceilings. People do not realize they are walking into a 2,600 square foot home,” explains RE/MAX Showcase agent Yan Bohyn, representative of ABD Development in Providence. “The travertine that we placed in our model contrasted perfectly with the wood flooring in the bedrooms. The Parade of Homes was a great success for ABD.”
The Orlando Parade of Homes has been held annually for over 50 years and ABD Development has received recognition with awards for its home designs since 1993, an outstanding achievement that is a source of pride for the Davenport, Florida real estate development company.
