Craven District Council – Top Task Website Recognised in Awards
GOSS Interactive congratulates Craven District Council for receiving 3 stars in the Socitm Better Connected 2013 report.

The best performing sites, like Craven District Council, have taken a customer-led design approach that “simplifies, de-clutters, reduces the number of menus, and make things easier to use.”
Craven District Council, who have their websites powered by GOSS iCM (intelligent Content Management), were mentioned by the reviewers for their overall approach to providing a top task website.
The reviewers praised the provision of many services on the website such as the provision of top tasks, “The home page and many of the landing pages clearly identify top tasks and provide links to the relevant content” and about local swimming pools, “Really good range of information about swimming pools, timetables and lessons.”
They also commented on the excellent content on offer “Excellent content about getting bulky waste collected. Very easy to find using navigation, but not found for the search or AZ using our search terms.” The information on how to apply for housing was also praised, “Useful information found on the page about applying for social housing.”
