Local residents and members of the Palm Beach medical community learned about the medical expertise, treatments and rehabilitation services available at the Palm Beach Neurosciences Institute (PBNI) during their well-attended grand opening event. The 150-plus attendees were given staff-guided tours of the 8000 square-foot facility and experienced first-hand the comprehensive diagnostic resources available at PBNI.
West Palm Beach, FL, May 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS), a multi-specialty physician group serving Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, opens the Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute (PBNI) to diagnose and treat neurological, neurovascular and neurosurgical disorders.
The 8,000 square-foot Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute includes a team of highly skilled neurologists, adult and pediatric neurosurgeons, interventional neurologists and epileptologists as well as on-site diagnostic, rehabilitation, and research centers. As part of The Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute’s effort to provide comprehensive care, various specialists and subspecialists will be rotating through the facility to provide complimentary care.

Pedro Hernández-Frau, M.D. is a neurologist and epileptologist board-certified in neurology and neurophysiology with special training in epilepsy. His areas of interest include intractable epilepsy, epilepsy surgery evaluations and long term video/EEG monitoring.
Ali R. Malek, M.D., F.S.N.I.S. is a board-certified interventional neurologist and neurointensivist. His areas of interest include neurocritical care, acute ischemic stroke and endovascular rescue, subarchnoid hemorrhage and cerebral aneurysms. He is currently the Medical Director of the Interventional Neurology program at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Juan Carlos Muñiz, M.D. is a board-certified neurologist and neurology epileptologist, with areas of interest in headaches, ICU continuous monitoring, long term video/EEG monitoring and intractable epilepsy.
Brett A. Osborn, D.O. is board-certified in neurosurgery and anti-aging medicine with special interests in the areas of neurotrauma, sterotactic brain surgery, complex spine surgery, adult hydrocephalus (NPH) and pain management.
Neil N. Patel, D.O., M.B.A. is board-certified in pediatric and adult neurosurgery.
