Coral Products Launch Kitchen Caddy with SteriTouch®
Abertillery, United Kingdom, May 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Merseyside-based Coral Products plc has introduced an antimicrobial food recycling bin to its range of products supplied to local authorities, and is confident that this development will encourage the use of food caddies in the home.
Incorporating SteriTouch® universal masterbatch into the virgin polymers used at Coral Products’ injection moulding facility, Kitchen Caddies with antimicrobial protection will resist odours and staining associated with bacterial and mould growth, whilst also remaining effective against illness-causing bacteria such as E.Coli and Salmonella.
Antimicrobial masterbatch from SteriTouch®, a leading brand in additive technology, can be incorporated during the standard moulding process, and requires no changes to manufacturing or any special treatment. As an inherent part of the end product, the effectiveness of the additive will neither wear off or wear out over time.
Ian Bellamy of Coral Products commented, “This addition to our range will help protect family members from a wide range of bacteria including E-Coli, MRSA and Salmonella. So ensuring a safer environment, and dispelling any health worries of food waste collection within the home.
