Celerant Technology Jazzes Up the 2013 Client Conference with New Features
Command Retail Users Attended Conference on Advanced Retail Technology in New Orleans
Staten Island, NY, May 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Celerant Technology Corp, a leader in the retail software industry and provider of Command Retail real-time, omnichannel retail management system, hosted their 2013 Annual Client Conference in New Orleans, April 25-26. Celerant’s two-day conference was comprised of small, pre-selected sessions for both beginners and advanced users of Command Retail.
Ian Goldman, President and CEO of Celerant, said about the conference, “This year’s event was another great success, as we were able to show our clients many of the new features that we have developed for the current version of our software and provide a glimpse into what can be expected for the next year. Every year we look forward to providing a one on one customer centric experience to engage in conversations, build partnerships and answer questions so that every client leaves the conference with a positive sense of community.”
During the conference, representatives from Celerant’s technical and sales staffs educated users in training sessions, interactive workshops, and break-out sessions. The New Features Workshop provided a hands-on experience with the latest version of Command Retail. The prevalence of mobile solutions in retail lead Celerant to add a Mobile Applications Training Session which taught clients how to use Celerant Command Mobile for back office functions and new Standalone Applications for physical inventory.
Jon Judy, Celerant Implementation Manager/Trainer, transitioned from retail to retail software six months ago, and has been using his retail expertise primarily to improve the firearms functionality in Command Retail. “The Client Conference allowed me to teach firearms dealers all the new features, while learning from retailer’s how they personally use the system,” he said after his second day of moderating. “I look forward to taking the feedback I gathered in the sessions and one-and-one meetings to advance my skillset and help to make further enhancements to the system.”
Celerant received positive feedback from many clients, including Cathryn Davenport of Bob’s Merchandise, Inc. “As usual, Celerant’s user conference did not disappoint. Celerant’s friendliness and professionalism as well as the fact they provide this invaluable service each year is appreciated and something I look forward to each year.”
The conference proved to be a great place for clients to network with other Command Retail users, as well as meet Celerant decision makers face to face. This year Celerant offered an additional opportunity to network with partners the evening before the event. This time was spent learning about the options Celerant provides for handling a variety of functions that exist outside of the already robust software. Research is already underway for the location of next year’s conference, which will be determined based on this year’s client survey results.
