Dr. Timothy Bilash Announces Summer Women's Health Series
Dr. Timothy Bilash, MD, will present a series of lectures on several controversial topics concerning women's health.
Solana Beach, CA, May 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Timothy Bilash, MD, is pleased to announce the June 4th commencement of a new Summer Women’s Health Lecture Series, a suite of informational lectures that centers around the treatment of hormonal disorders that commonly affect women of all ages. The ten-week series will offer a range of topics from vitamin deficiencies to endocrine disruptors, current trends in evidence-based medicine, to how to find a good doctor in the age of “New Medicine” and fresh ideas on the issues of race. Dr. Bilash, a Solana Beach-based OB/GYN commented, “Each of these issues has a tremendous impact on how we perceive life, health care and medicine, both as consumers and in the medical community.”
All lectures are free and are open to the public. Each topic will be presented twice each week of the series: Tuesday at 7:00 pm and repeating on the following Saturday (at 9 a.m. with a few exceptions). A question and answer session will follow and refreshments will be served.

“Vitamins A and D – The Grandmother and Grandfather Vitamins”
In this inaugural talk, Dr. Bilash will discuss the importance of Vitamins A and D and their effects on hormonal regulation and overall health. Vitamins A and D are important regulators that work to keep the immune system running smoothly. In addition, these vitamins are crucial in fighting inflammation and autoimmune diseases (including cancer), estrogen modulation, and bacterial infections.
